According to him, the goal of the Russian army on this part of the front is to take control of the left bank of the Sukhi Yaly and "then in any case they will move towards Constantinople and begin to cut off communication with the south of Kurakhove".

"The enemy’s plan remains unchanged here - it is to gradually support the flanks and slowly advance north. The enemy is also gradually occupying positions east and southeast of Uspenivka," the military officer stated.

He believes that the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine located between Maksymilyanivka and Yelyzavetivka "should retreat because soon a pocket may form".

And shortly after that, it will be necessary to retreat from Kurakhove as well, "Muchnyi" thinks.
