Media: Kunytskyi fled Ukraine due to a corruption-related criminal case
The Member of Parliament from "Servant of the People" Oleksandr Kunytskyi may have left Ukraine due to a criminal case related to his corrupt actions.
This is reported by the media.
The MP went on a business trip and has not returned to Ukraine for over a month. How long he has been abroad is unknown, but he did not participate in parliamentary sessions throughout October. According to the information on the Verkhovna Rada’s website in the "Deputy’s Voting" section, he was absent from votes throughout October.
Interestingly, Kunytskyi disappeared after media publications about the investigation of his criminal case related to violations during his departure abroad during the war period. This happened at the end of September.
Kunitsky is a friend and business partner of non-affiliated fugitive MP Artem Dmytruk, as well as the "Servant of the People" MP Mykola Tyshchenko. Additionally, he is known for his numerous "showdowns" with the patrol police and an incident of an assault in downtown Kyiv (where he appeared on video alongside fellow MPs).
