At this moment, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have 880,000 service members, - Zelenskyy

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that currently the Ukrainian army comprises 880,000 military personnel who are defending the entire country. At the same time, Ukrainian forces are facing 600,000 occupiers on the territory.

"You know, currently there are 600,000 representatives of the Russian contingent on the territory of our state. As for the Ukrainian army, today it consists of 880,000 soldiers.

However, 880,000 are defending the entire territory. Russian troops are concentrated in several directions, so in some areas they have a numerical advantage, and when the war ends, we need to understand what a contingent of other countries is. We support this idea and must understand how many it is. Secondly, we need to understand what the Ukrainian army will be."

Zelenskyy added that he is discussing the issue of peacekeepers in Ukraine with allies. According to him, Ukraine supports the deployment of allied contingents, but currently, these are just some "general matters." This could also be another point among security guarantees. The President mentioned that he will discuss this with the British Prime Minister.
