Strike on Mykolaiv: the State Emergency Service showed the consequences

The State Emergency Service demonstrated the consequences of a drone attack from the Russian Federation on Mykolaiv, which took place in the evening of January 21. The attack resulted in casualties, destruction, and fires.

The attic floor of an apartment building was partially destroyed. A fire in an apartment on the sixth floor, which covered an area of 100 square meters, was extinguished. Two hundred people were evacuated from the building, and all have now returned to their homes.

The blast wave damaged windows in four apartment buildings and one private residential building.

Additionally, rescuers extinguished a reed fire on an area of 1,000 square meters. Doors and windows in a boat cooperative were damaged. There were also damages to a private house, an administrative building, and a vehicle was destroyed. Garbage and dry grass fires covering 100 square meters were extinguished.

Among the injured was a 74-year-old woman who was taken to the hospital and a man with an acute stress reaction. He was provided with first aid and refused hospitalization.
