The Russian Federation launched more than 100 drones at Ukraine: Air Defence Forces destroyed 57

On the night of January 27, occupying forces attacked Ukraine with 104 strike drones of the Shahed type and decoy drones; 57 drones were destroyed, and another 39 were lost locationally. As a result of the attack, there is destruction in 4 regions.

This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.

"As of 9:00, the downing of 57 strike UAVs of the Shahed type and other types of drones in the Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions has been confirmed. 39 enemy decoy drones have been lost locationally (without negative consequences)."

The Air Force added that as a result of the Russian strike, the Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Kyiv regions were affected - infrastructure facilities, apartment buildings, and private houses were hit.

The invaders launched drones from the directions of the Russian cities of Oryol, Kursk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from Cape Chauda in temporarily occupied Crimea.

The air raid was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force, and the Defence Forces of Ukraine.
