The police refuted the Russian fake about "intensification" of mobilization in Odesa
In Russia, a new fake about mobilization in Ukraine was invented. Propagandists claimed its alleged "intensification," particularly in Odesa.
This is reported by the National Police of Ukraine.
"The enemy created and distributed a forged document, allegedly issued by the Main Department of the National Police in the Odesa region. It allegedly orders law enforcement officers to "strengthen the search for persons subject to mobilization," the message states.
The so-called "wanted" persons included, in particular, 18-year-old citizens, who, according to propagandists’ plan, are to be registered at territorial recruitment centers, as well as women with military education.
"Moreover, according to the enemy, they plan to "search" for them in clubs, restaurants, bars, sports complexes, and shopping centers. To enhance the effect of the spread rumors, the authors added another scare tactic - about mobile groups that will patrol the city, and a "permission" to use weapons and tear gas "in case of resistance," the department added.
The National Police emphasized that no such orders were issued by the Main Department of the National Police in the Odesa region.
"In addition, the "document" contains stylistic errors and does not match the format of official orders. Also, under the specified number in the "document," a completely different order is actually registered - about the dismissal of an employee dated 31.10.2024," law enforcement officers say.
