The consequences of the "Shahed" attack on the Kyiv region: reports about downed enemy drones
On the night of February 9, Russia launched an attack on Ukraine with kamikaze drones. In the Kyiv region, the alert lasted all night, resulting in certain consequences.
This was reported by the Kyiv Regional Military Administration (KRMA).
Air defense was active in the region. According to KRMA, enemy objects were shot down.
"In the Obukhiv district, during the construction of a multi-story building, debris from a shot-down object fell. The facade of an unfinished residential building was damaged. In other districts of the region, debris fell on open areas," the administration reported.
Fortunately, there are no casualties among the population.
No damage to critical or residential infrastructure was recorded. Operational teams continue to work on identifying and eliminating the consequences of the enemy attack.
The alarm in the Kyiv region was announced at 8:49 PM on February 8 and lasted until 8 AM on February 9. During the night, there was a threat of "Shaheds" and ballistic objects. In Kyiv, the alert lasted from midnight on February 9 until 4 AM, and also for 12 minutes around 7 AM.
