Russians attacked Kyiv region: buildings damaged and fires in several districts, one person injured

During the night of February 16 to 17, the terrorist country of the Russian Federation once again attacked Kyiv region using kamikaze drones. The air defence forces of the region acted effectively, but unfortunately, there is damage, and a 21-year-old young man was injured.

This information was announced by the acting head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk. Residents of the region were urged not to ignore air raid signals.

"Another night enemy attack using UAVs on the Kyiv region. Peaceful settlements are under fire. The region was defended by air defence forces. Enemy targets were shot down. There were no hits on critical infrastructure. Unfortunately, as a result of the attack in Boryspil district, a person was injured – a man born in 2003 received a hand injury. All necessary medical assistance was provided on the spot," the statement said.

According to the official, in the Obukhiv district, three private houses and two cars were damaged as a result of the RF terrorist attack. In the Vyshhorod district, a production facility caught fire due to the attack, which was quickly extinguished.

In the Fastiv district, as a result of the attack, a warehouse caught fire, which was also extinguished by rescuers. In the Boryspil district, a private house was damaged. Operational teams continue to work on documenting and eliminating the consequences of the enemy’s terrorist attack.
