In the energy sector, there is a deficit following today’s strikes, - Kim
In the Mykolaiv region, as a result of an enemy attack, about 100,000 people were left without heating. Vitaliy Kim explained how the consequences were promptly eliminated that night. There is a deficit in Ukraine’s energy sector following today’s strikes.
This was reported by Vitaliy Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, during a broadcast of the telethon.
According to Vitaliy Kim, the enemy attacked one of the substations, but serious consequences were avoided.
Regarding the heating supply, by 8 a.m. it was fully restored in the region, although the temperature is still slightly below normal as it is gradually increasing. It is expected to reach the standard levels within a day.
Kim assured that all processes for restoring the heating supply have been carried out, but there is a possibility that due to the abnormally cold weather, some pipes may have frozen or require bleeding. He thanked the energy workers and public utility employees for their coordinated efforts.
Hospitals are currently operating on autonomous heating systems provided by Denmark. Unfortunately, there are not enough for all medical facilities, so priority is given to certain departments where it is critically needed, and for them, such systems are sufficient. Kim also noted that solar panels are being installed in medical facilities to ensure their autonomy.
