DeepState: The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation recaptured positions near Kursk and Pokrovsk
In the Kursk region, there were almost twice as many attacks by the Russian Armed Forces as on the most active front line near Pokrovsk, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation managed to advance on three combat fronts. One of the directions is in the Kursk region, the other two are on the Kupyansk direction, and one is near Pokrovsk. Analysts from the DeepState project described the details of the RF advance in their Telegram channel.
On the night of March 3, analysts published a report on the current situation on the front line. According to their data, the enemy achieved success in four locations. The estimated changes on the battle line range from 600 m to 2.4 km.
Kursk direction. As noted in the DeepState channel, the Russians managed to retake positions north of Sudzha near the settlement of Pogrebki. The enemy was able to push back the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces by about 1.3 km. In the zone of advancement are the villages of Orlivka (Sudzhansky district) and Nova Sorochina.
Pokrovsk direction. On this section, the Russian troops advanced near the village of Pishchane, located southwest of Pokrovsk. As shown by analysts’ maps, the enemy advanced approximately 600 m.
Kupyansk direction. According to DeepState information, south of Kupyansk, Russian Armed Forces achieved success near two settlements. Near the village of Zahryzove, located 22 km from the key city, the enemy advanced 1.7 km. Near Nadiya (near Raihorodok), the front line shifted by 2.4 km.

In the report of the command, relevant for the evening of March 2, it was noted that in Donbas, the RF Armed Forces most often attacked in the Pokrovsk direction: 18 assaults were conducted, resulting in the death of about a hundred Russians. Other active directions were Toretsk (14 attacks) and Lyman (15). In Kupyansk, there were three attacks, while in Kursk there were 30 assaults, which is almost twice as many as near Pokrovsk.
