Zelenskyy appointed a new head of the Lviv Regional State Administration

The First Deputy Head of Sambir District State Administration, Pavlo Hrabskyi, has been appointed the Head of Lviv District State Administration. The appointment order was signed on March 5.

The document was approved by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy. It is known that the government agreed on Hrabskiy’s candidacy for the position seven months ago, in the summer of 2024.

Before Pavlo Hrabskyi, the Lviv District State Administration was headed by Khrystyna Zamula. However, on March 8, 2024, the Cabinet dismissed her from this position with a subsequent promotion – transferring her to the position of Deputy Head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration.

Pavlo Hrabskyi is 32 years old. He was born in the town of Khyriv in the Sambir region. In July 2021, he was appointed Deputy Head of the Sambir District State Administration. In February 2023, he became the First Deputy Head of the Sambir District Administration.

Pavlo entered politics through the "New Leaders" project. At that time, according to his own video, the young man was interested in bodybuilding

Prior to this, he headed the Lviv youth wing of Yulia Tymoshenko’s party "Batkivshchyna".

However, the career of the official did not immediately succeed – before his position in the district administration, the young man worked in the Polish company DELL, and prior to that – from 2013 to 2018 – he was registered at the employment center as unemployed.

During this period, he worked – as an auxiliary worker at the Slokhyniv Brick Factory, a loader at a furniture factory in Khyriv, a bouncer at the Lviv nightclub "Shokolad", a gym trainer, and a development director for the network of sports complexes at the Lviv SOC "Intersport".

In 2020, Pavlo ran for the position of mayor of Khyriv but did not win.

According to his income declaration, in 2023 Hrabskyi earned only 322,186 hryvnias. However, his wife, Olesya Hrabska, at that time, earned (again, according to the declaration) slightly more than five million hryvnias and purchased a Volkswagen Tiguan for 484,000 hryvnias.
