Zelenskyy confirmed consent to a moratorium on strikes against energy infrastructure

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that he supported Donald Trump’s proposal to cease strikes on energy and civilian infrastructure.

He stated this after talks with the former US president.

«President Trump shared the details of his conversation with Putin and discussed the key issues that were addressed. One of the first steps towards a complete cessation of the war could be halting attacks on energy and other civilian infrastructure. I supported this step, and Ukraine confirmed its readiness to implement it», — Zelenskyy noted.

He also added that the American side proposed an unconditional ceasefire on the front line, and Ukraine accepted this proposal.
