SBGS: The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are attempting to expand the combat zone in the Kharkiv region

Russian invaders are attempting to expand the zone of active hostilities in the Kharkiv region, particularly in the areas of the settlements of Lyptsi and Vovchansk.

This was reported by the spokesperson of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko, during a telethon interview.

At the same time, Demchenko noted that the enemy has not achieved success in this regard.

"The border line with Russia is essentially the front line, with some areas experiencing active combat and others less so. We must be prepared for developments in any situation along any of the sectors, as long as Russia continues its war against our country and shows such aggression. Currently, speaking about the Kharkiv region, we see two active focal points, one of which is the direction of the settlements of Lyptsi and Vovchansk, where the enemy is trying to expand the zone of active hostilities but has failed to achieve the goals of penetrating deeper into the Kharkiv region or expanding the active zone within Ukraine," said the spokesperson of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
