The HACC did not expedite the submission of the indictment against the head of the AMCU, Pavlo Kyrylenko
The High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine (HACC) did not expedite the referral of the indictment against the head of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, Pavlo Kyrylenko, who is suspected of illegal enrichment amounting to 72.1 million UAH and inaccurate declaration.
On March 19, HACC investigating judge Lesya Fedorak decided not to accelerate the process of referring the indictment to the court. The investigation into Kyrylenko’s case was completed on December 9, 2024. The case materials consist of 25 volumes, with electronic evidence included on information carriers.
NABU detectives point out that the defence is delaying the process of familiarization with the investigation materials. One of the detectives requested to set a deadline for the defence’s familiarization, as they are unable to access part of the materials due to issues with opening files using standard programs.
According to the investigation, between 2020 and 2023, while serving as the head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, Kyrylenko acquired 21 real estate objects and a luxury car, registering them under the names of his wife’s relatives.
