Ukrainians who regularly receive payment for goods through platforms like OLX or social networks may be recognized as entrepreneurs and fined for unregistered business activities.
As reported by the media, citing sources in the tax service, receiving around 50 transfers per month for sales may attract the interest of fiscal authorities. At the same time, it is emphasized that checks are conducted not through banks but by monitoring the use of cash registers (RRO) and software cash registers (PRRO).
In case of detecting systematic entrepreneurial activity without registration as a private entrepreneur, violators face a fine ranging from 17,000 to 34,000 UAH. The tax service advises those who regularly sell goods online to register as entrepreneurs to avoid financial penalties.
