Ukraine handed over a list of abducted children to Russia during negotiations in Istanbul — Yermak

During negotiations in Istanbul, the Ukrainian delegation handed over to Russian representatives a list of hundreds of Ukrainian children that Kyiv demands to be returned.

This was reported by the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak.

«The return of Ukrainian children is an integral part of a just and lasting peace, as well as a key element of trust. This is the first test of sincerity of intentions. We await a response. The ball is in Russia’s court», — Yermak emphasized in his post.

Recall that Ukraine insists on the prompt return of children illegally deported from temporarily occupied territories. According to the authorities, Russia has taken thousands of Ukrainian minors since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
