In Ukraine, the rental prices for one-room apartments have increased: the most significant rise is in Odesa
The cost of renting one-room apartments in Ukraine has skyrocketed in the past six months.
According to the real estate market data, the average increase ranged from 1% to 29% depending on the region.
The most noticeable price hike was recorded in Odesa — by 29% straight away, reaching an average level of 11,000 hryvnias per month. In Dnipro, rent increased by 10%, and in Kyiv and Rivne — by 9%.
Currently, it is the most expensive to rent accommodation in Uzhhorod — the average rent for a one-room apartment is 18,700 hryvnias. Slightly less — in Kyiv (18,000 UAH) and Lviv (17,500 UAH).
Experts attribute the rise in prices to seasonal demand, population movement due to the war, and the limited supply of housing in popular cities.
