CCD: A UAV attack halted the operation of the Tambov Gunpowder Plant in Russia

This was reported in the Telegram by the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) Andriy Kovalenko.

"It’s far from the first time the Tambov Gunpowder Plant in the Russian Federation has been attacked. It is now suspending operations," he noted.

Kovalenko explained that the plant is one of the key facilities in the Russian military-industrial complex involved in the war against Ukraine. The plant produces gunpowder for small arms, artillery, and rocket systems, as well as collodion, which is used in the creation of explosives and other specialized products.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, production at the enterprise has increased significantly as it directly supplies the needs of the Russian army.
