"Ukrposhta" wants to spend over one million hryvnias on rebranding
"Ukrposhta" announced a tender for the development of a new brand book worth over 1.2 million UAH, which sparked lively discussions on social networks. According to the information in the Prozorro system, this involves a complete update of the company’s visual style, including the logo, corporate elements, advertising templates, and social media design.
Proposals from participants were accepted until June 24, and the auction itself was scheduled for the 25th.
The estimated cost: 1,245,783.00 UAH including VAT. The minimum price reduction step: 6,228.92 UAH - as stated in the tender documentation.
As noted, the new brand book should cover all aspects of identity from outdoor advertising to employee uniforms. The contractor must conduct a design study and provide the client with the results in open files, after which the brand book development will begin according to the technical requirements.
Up to three revisions (corrections) at the client’s request are also provided. The place of service provision is defined as the company’s central office in Kyiv.
The procurement announcement sparked a wave of criticism online, particularly from former "Ukrposhta" marketing director Maks Kolesnikov, who publicly questioned the justification of the expenditure.
"Ukrposhta" needs a new brand book for one million two hundred thousand. For a state-owned company with a last year’s net loss of 400+ million, this is an extremely necessary thing," - he noted in his post on X.
