Failed to declare real estate in Moscow: Detectives searched the property of MP Kaptyelov
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau conducted a search at the residence of member of parliament from the "Servant of the People" faction, Roman Kaptyelov, as part of an investigation into possible false declaration.
This is stated in one of the decisions of the High Anti-Corruption Court and is confirmed by sources from "Slovo i Dilo" in anti-corruption bodies.
It is noted that on June 17, NABU detectives conducted a search at Kaptyelov’s place of residence. They seized a mobile phone that had a logical protection system. The politician did not provide the code, so the phone was confiscated. It was recognized as material evidence, and an examination was scheduled. The phone was placed under arrest.
On February 10, 2025, NABU launched an investigation into the possible falsehood in MP Kaptyelov’s declaration. It did not include information about his family members, as well as property owned by them. Specifically, this involved an apartment in Moscow with a total area of 101.8 square meters and an approximate value of 17.5 million UAH, which belongs to his wife Yevheniya and children. The MP also did not declare the income of Yevheniya Kaptyelova.
