The first meeting of the board of directors of the American-Ukrainian Investment Fund is scheduled for September.

This was reported by the First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy Yuliya Svyrydenko following a conversation with US Secretary of Treasury Scott Bessent.

According to her, Ukraine is working on expanding the fund’s mandate so that it can also invest in the defense sector.

«The task is to launch the first three projects within the fund within 18 months», Svyrydenko emphasized.
