Kryvonos: NABU asks the SSU to disclose all materials regarding the suspected employees

NABU has approached the SSU with a request to provide evidence confirming the involvement of two NABU employees in Russian influence.

The head of the Bureau stated this during a press conference.

"Yesterday I received a relevant letter from the SSU regarding one of them, but I was not granted permission to disclose its content publicly. 

Firstly, I will certainly be requesting additional materials and am awaiting a response regarding the other employee. I will insist on permission to publish the materials provided to me because I believe they should be open to the Ukrainian public, the Bureau’s staff, and international partners.

I have also asked the SSU to publish all available materials regarding both employees in open access. This is necessary for the Ukrainian public and me, as the director of the Bureau’s staff, who is very concerned and anxious, to get answers and see all available evidence. And I could make a decision within the framework of the internal investigation based on these materials," Kryvonos emphasized.

Otherwise, the director of the Bureau noted, it is necessary to move to a civilized format of investigation and request the release of these employees from custody. 

"I would like to remind you that the appeals against preventive measures are being delayed. Therefore, this would be the best solution to satisfy the interest of the Ukrainian public, the Bureau’s staff, and international partners," he concluded.
