RMA: Evacuation from Pokrovsk is only possible with the support of Ukrainian military

Currently, the situation in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region is the most difficult; evacuation from the city is practically impossible without the help of the Defence Forces.

This was stated in a TV broadcast by the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin.

"There are currently 1,327 people remaining in Pokrovsk, where the situation is the most difficult, with approximately a kilometer left to the enemy. However, our Defence Forces are doing everything possible to contain the occupier, and they are very strong," said the head of the region.

According to him, evacuation from the city is currently only possible with the support of the Ukrainian military.

"Regarding evacuation, without the Defence Forces, it is almost impossible now, as the enemy is shelling all access routes with FPV drones on fiber optics… Those who want to leave now can do so only with the support of the Defence Forces," added Filashkin.

On August 12, the city administration also reported that 1,327 residents still remain in Pokrovsk, and the situation is very difficult.
