The Kuznyetsov-Haidai fraud: Marchenko delayed HACC decision twice to avoid paying bail

The former head of the Mukachevo District Administration, Serhiy Haidai, who is suspected of being involved in a corruption scheme, has been released on bail. Meanwhile, the actual owner of Zaporizhzhya LLC «Acopters», Vladyslav Marchenko, has yet to receive preventive measures.

Although the High Anti-Corruption Court has set bail for him, Marchenko filed an appeal in case №991/7930/25 within the legally established five-day period. As a result, the decision of the first instance court has not yet come into force.

The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court has already postponed the hearing twice – the sessions were delayed for unknown reasons. The next hearing is scheduled for August 22.
