Politico: The EU convenes an urgent meeting of ambassadors after Trump’s talks with Putin

An urgent meeting of ambassadors from all 27 EU member states is being convened today to discuss the bloc’s further actions after Trump presented the Europeans and Zelenskyy with the outcomes of his talks with Putin.

This is reported by Politico, citing two EU diplomats.

Ambassadors have been requested to meet in a "restricted format," without assistants and phones, to minimize the risk of information leaks.

The German Chancellor Friedrich Merz is currently holding an extraordinary Cabinet meeting following a phone conversation with Trump about the outcomes of his meeting with Putin, writes Bild.
