Law enforcement officers exposed eight more organizers of "schemes" for draft dodgers
The Security Service of Ukraine, together with the National Police, conducted a large-scale operation against the organizers of schemes to evade mobilization. Law enforcement officers simultaneously detained eight people in several regions of the country who were helping conscripts avoid service for money.
As reported by the SSU press center, the operation was coordinated by specialized defence prosecutors who confirmed the details of the investigative actions. The agency emphasized that all the individuals involved have already been charged, and the case materials have been transferred to the court.

Among the detained was a lecturer from one of the capital’s universities. She took money for "employment" or enrollment in a postgraduate program, which was supposed to grant a deferral from mobilization. She was aided by a 28-year-old accomplice who allegedly had connections with TRC representatives. In Kropyvnytskyi, a secretary of the military medical commission was caught taking bribes for falsifying documents for temporary deferment.
Escape routes abroad
Law enforcement also uncovered several organizers of "transfers" outside Ukraine. In Cherkasy, a 48-year-old man was sending evaders through Odesa further to Moldova. In the Lviv region, two accomplices were exposed, promising safe exit to the European Union outside official checkpoints.

In the Chernihiv region, two directors of gymnasiums, who are also local deputies, were detained. They were taking money for fictitious employment of men as teachers, who, of course, did not show up for work.
Punishment according to the law
The detainees are charged with several articles of the Criminal Code, including illegal transportation of persons across the border, receiving unlawful benefits, and obstructing the work of the Armed Forces during martial law. They all face up to nine years of imprisonment with confiscation of property. Currently, they are in custody.
