Shmyhal: Ukraine effectively mobilizes forces, Russia loses a million people

Ukraine’s Defence Minister Denys Shmyhal stated that the level of mobilization in Ukraine is currently sufficient to replenish personnel numbers and create reserves.

Shmyhal made this statement in an interview with Sky News.

According to him, the level of mobilization in Ukraine over the past 12 months has been completely stable and shows a tendency to increase.

"We have mobilized the necessary number of personnel to cover all our losses and form small reserves," Shmyhal explained.

At the same time, he noted that Russia is covering its losses, despite them being five times greater than Ukraine’s.

"They are covering all these losses, so for them, there are no issues, and they have lost 1 million people since the beginning of this war. Half of them have been killed. So they just keep shooting, burning their people in the fire of war, not counting how many they have lost. So this is a challenge and a problem," the minister emphasized.
