The case of the Odesa Port Plant: HACC set deadlines for reviewing investigation materials
On September 16, 2025, at the request of NABU detectives, the investigating judge of the HACC set a deadline for the defense and the victim to review the materials of the pre-trial investigation in the case of the Odesa Port Plant.
The deadline for review is until October 3, 2025.
Starting from October 4, 2025, the defence and the victim will be considered to have exercised their right to access the materials of the pre-trial investigation.
In addition, the investigating judge ordered that the issue of disciplinary liability be raised before the competent authorities regarding some of the defenders in the case.
As a reminder, according to the investigation, a former MP, together with a trusted person, organized a scheme under which the Odesa Port Plant sold mineral fertilizers, namely ammonia and urea, to a pre-determined company at prices below market value. It should be noted that the implementation of this scheme caused losses to the plant amounting to over 94 million UAH.
