"Bug" in the office of the Mayor of Lviv: SSU has opened a criminal case

The Security Service of Ukraine has opened a criminal case after a "bug" was found in the office of Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi.

This was stated in a comment by the press service of the SSU.

As noted by the SSU, the criminal case was initiated based on the discovery of an "unauthorized technical device" in the office of the Lviv Mayor.

Currently, SSU officers are conducting all necessary investigative and operational measures at the Lviv City Hall.

The device found in the office is promised to be seized and sent for expert examination.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted under Part 1 of Article 359 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal use of special technical means for obtaining information).
