In Kupyansk, civilian entry has been restricted: the Armed Forces of Ukraine are conducting search and strike operations

The city of Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region is under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This was reported by the spokesperson of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major Andriy Kovalyov, as conveyed by "Interfax-Ukraine".

"In the northern part of the city, search and strike operations by the Armed Forces of Ukraine against Russian occupiers are ongoing. In the city of Kupyansk itself, active counter-sabotage measures are currently being conducted," the spokesperson emphasized.

Kovalyov noted that entry for civilians into the city is restricted to ensure the effective implementation of the aforementioned measures by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
