The situation on the front: 176 combat engagements, Ukrainian forces hold back the pressure from the Russian Federation

The 1315th day of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun. Overall, 176 combat clashes were recorded during the past day. About half of them occurred in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka directions.

As noted by the General Staff, Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly holding back the onslaught of the occupiers, inflicting significant losses on the enemy.

Yesterday, the enemy carried out 51 air strikes, dropped 104 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they conducted 4463 shellings, including 126 with multiple rocket launchers, and deployed 5531 kamikaze drones for attacks.

The aggressor carried out airstrikes on areas of settlements: Seredyna-Buda of the Sumy region; Novoselivka, Zaliznychne of the Zaporizhzhya region; Lviv, Odradokamyanka of the Kherson region.

Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defence Forces hit three areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, and one artillery piece of the enemy.

In the Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, 20 combat clashes occurred during the past day. The enemy carried out six airstrikes, dropped nine guided bombs, and conducted 181 shellings, including eight with multiple rocket launchers.

In the Southern Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy attempted to assault our units’ positions near the settlements of Vovchansk and Kamyanka four times.

In the Kupyansk direction, there were three occupier attacks yesterday. Our defenders repelled enemy assault actions near Radkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, and towards Kupyansk.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 16 times, attempting to penetrate our defenses in the areas of Karpiivka, Seredne, Kolod’azi, Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Drobysheve, Shandryholove, and Torske settlements.

In the Siverskyi direction, our soldiers stopped three enemy attacks near Serebrianka and towards the settlement of Yampil.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked twice towards Minkivka and Kostiantynivka.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 14 attacks in the areas of Ivanopillia, Shcherbynivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, and Poltavka in the Donetsk region.

In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 56 enemy assault actions in the areas of the settlements of Shakhove, Nikanorivka, Volodymyrivka, Bilytske, Myroliubivka, Zvyrove, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Novoekonomichne, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novopavlivka, Dachne, and towards Pokrovsk, Balagan, Filia settlements.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy carried out 37 attacks during the past day in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrohrad, Vorone, Zelenyi Hai, Novokhatske, Piddubne, Komyshuvakha, Sosnivka, Sichneve, Hrushivske, Oleksiivka, Zaporizke, Berezove, Novomykolaivka, and towards Novopavlivka and Novohryhorivka.

In the Hulyaipole direction, six combat clashes were recorded in the area of the Poltavka settlement in the Zaporizhzhya region.

In the Orikhiv direction, three combat clashes occurred—the enemy attempted to advance near the settlements of Stepove, Kamyanske, and towards Stepnohirsk.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Ukrainian units repelled four enemy attacks.

In the Volyn and Polissya directions, signs of formation of enemy offensive groups were not detected.

Our soldiers are inflicting significant losses on the occupying troops in manpower and equipment, actively undermining the enemy’s offensive potential in the rear.
