The KCSA denied rumors about the lack of protection at the capital’s CHPs
The Kyiv City State Administration denied claims about the "lack of protection" at Kyiv’s CHPs.
The Kyiv City State Administration emphasized that the statements about the alleged lack of protection at Kyiv’s CHPs are false and a political manipulation. They noted that the capital’s combined heat and power plants have the necessary protection of the first stage, in accordance with the requirements of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the dissemination of sensitive information about energy facilities creates risks for energy workers and aids the enemy.
Currently, all services are working to eliminate the consequences of the attack:
- Electricity has already been restored for 270 thousand consumers.
- In four districts — Holosiivskyi, Pecherskyi, Solomianskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi — water supply operates in a limited mode.
- 84 pumping stations have been connected to generators, with a total of 170 operating in the city.
