Zelenskyy announced the creation of additional helicopter groups to protect against enemy drones

In Ukraine, additional helicopter groups will be formed to protect against enemy drones.

This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Telegram.

According to him, the issue of security in Ukraine’s regions was discussed today at the meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff. In particular, there are clear data for each region regarding the necessary equipment, required works, and needed funding.

"Military issues: we have determined how to expand the capabilities of army aviation to protect against drones. Additional helicopter groups will be formed. We are working with partners to provide Ukraine with more of the necessary types of aircraft," Zelenskyy wrote.
