Insurance for the supervisory board: Energoatom has taken out a management liability policy for UAH 19.3 million with coverage of UAH 390 million

NNPC NAEC “Energoatom” has ordered liability insurance for the head and members of the supervisory board for the amount of 19.3 million UAH.

It is noted that the services for a one-year term were ordered from PJSC “Insurance Company “Colonnade Ukraine”. The total insurance premium amounts to 19.3 million UAH, of which 17.37 million UAH is for covering the liability of supervisory board members, and 1.93 million UAH is for covering the insured person’s expenses subject to reimbursement. The insurance rate is 4.9375%. The insurance sum for liability coverage is 390.92 million UAH.

Thus, if the insured person requires expenses for defense or if a preliminary investigation of a claim is conducted, these expenses will be reimbursed within the specified insurance sum.

Expenses related to bail, preventive measures, restrictions on assets or freedom, as well as extradition proceedings, will be reimbursed at a rate of 10% of the insurance sum, but not more than 500,000 UAH per individual insurance event.

Limits for other types of compensation are set as follows:

• reputation restoration, fines, and penalties – 100,000 UAH;
• psychological assistance – 50,000 UAH;
• car replacement – 10,000 UAH;
• urgent expenses – 10% of the insurance sum.

The territory of insurance coverage includes the entire world, except for the USA and Canada.
