Syrskyi on the successes of the AFU: Assault troops have advanced on the Dobropillya direction

Ukrainian defenders continue the counteroffensive operation in the Dobropillya direction. Assault troops have achieved successes.

This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, on Telegram.

Syrskyi stated that he continues to work in the area of responsibility of the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He listened to reports from commanders on the ground regarding the situation at the front and the needs of the defenders. The main issues discussed were ensuring the safety of logistics, the actions of assault troops, and pushing Russians out of urban areas.

"We are increasing pressure on the Dobropillya salient. We continue to liberate and clear territories, which forces the enemy to disperse their forces and prevents them from concentrating their main efforts in the Pokrovsk area," the general added.

According to him, yesterday, on November 2, Ukrainian assault units managed to advance in certain directions in the area of the Dobropillya salient.

During the counteroffensive operation near Dobropillya, 188 square kilometers of territory were liberated, while 248.7 square kilometers of territory were cleared of Russian saboteurs.

Syrskyi assured that combat operations to destroy the occupiers are ongoing.
