Syrskyi: Ukrainian troops are advancing on the Dobropillya salient

Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi continues his work in the Donetsk region, particularly in the Pokrovsk direction. He reported that he listened to the reports of commanders on the ground regarding the current situation and urgent needs.

Key issues: securing logistics, actions of assault groups to push the enemy out of urban areas. Syrskyi stated that the troops are being reinforced with additional units, weapons, equipment, including drones.

“We are increasing pressure on the Dobropillya salient. We continue to liberate and clear territories, which forces the enemy to disperse their forces and prevents them from concentrating their main efforts in the Pokrovsk area,” he said.

According to the Commander-in-Chief, on November 6, assault troops in the Dobropillya salient area advanced in certain directions. Overall, during the operation, 188 km² have been liberated, and 248.7 km² have been cleared of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups.
