Polish farmers continue to block three checkpoints, with 1,400 trucks in queues

“The blocking of precisely three directions continues: “Rava-Russka”, “Yahodyn” and “Uhryniv”. And, in fact, in all these three directions, Polish farmers do not allow freight vehicles to pass towards Poland at all, and several freight vehicles are allowed to pass towards Ukraine vehicles per hour," Demchenko said.

He noted that the Yahodyn checkpoint is the largest infrastructure area on the border with Poland for the passage of cargo vehicles. In particular, it can handle 1200-1400 trucks per day. Only 70 freight vehicles traveled towards Ukraine over the past 24 hours.

According to the press secretary of the State Border Guard Service, the total queue on these three routes reaches somewhere just over 400 freight vehicles.

He noted that there are queues in previously unblocked directions. This is especially felt in the direction of the Krakivets and Shehyni checkpoints. At the first one there are about 550 trucks waiting as of this morning and about 450 opposite “Shehyni”.

Demchenko emphasized that Polish farmers do not block traffic for other categories of transport except freight.
