At night, air defence destroyed 17 enemy UAVs with which the invaders attacked Ukraine

At night, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 17 "shaheds", which were destroyed by Ukrainian air defence.

This is stated in the morning report of the General Staff.

“At night, the Russian occupiers once again attacked Ukraine, using 17 Shahed-type UAVs for this purpose. All attack UAVs were destroyed by Ukrainian air defence forces and means.”

Over the past 24 hours, 57 military clashes took place.

In total, the enemy carried out 10 missile and 88 air strikes, carried out 71 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.

More than 100 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.

In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy maintains military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of the Defence Forces to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border.

In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 7 enemy attacks near Terny, Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defences.

In the Bakhmut sector, Ukrainian troops repelled 14 attacks in the areas of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region; Verkhnekamianske, Vyymka, Spirne, Bohdanivka, Klishchiyivka, Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka sector, defenders repelled five attacks near Novokalynove, Berdychi and Netaylove in Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to drive Ukrainian troops from their positions.

In the Novopavlivka sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the vicinity of Novomykhailivka and Heorhiivka, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to break through the defences of our troops 21 times.

In the Orikhivsk sector, the enemy attacked the defenders’ positions twice near Staromayorske, Donetsk region, and Robotyne, Zaporizhzhya region.

In the Kherson direction over the past 24 hours, the enemy made 5 unsuccessful attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops.

During the day, the Defence Forces’ aviation carried out strikes on 14 areas where personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated and one enemy anti-aircraft missile system.

The missile force units defeated 2 areas where weapons and military equipment were concentrated, 1 UAV control point, 1 artillery system and 1 enemy electronic warfare station.
