Our state will request the convening of a meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council. It should discuss the protection of the Ukrainian sky from Russian attacks, in particular, the supply of air defence systems - relevant systems and missiles.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in his evening address on Tuesday, April 16. He said that Ukraine works every day, without any break, in order to receive more real help from partners.

“In order to achieve true equality in protection from terrorism, when the same, truly equal rules will apply to us here, in Ukraine, in Europe, and in other parts of the world, when we are faced with the same manifestations of terror, the same missile strikes and drones," the guarantor noted.

“During these two days, we have heard a lot. About different conflicts – here in Europe and in the Middle East – different levels of threats, different airspace. Although the same “martyrdom” and ballistics... About different threats of escalation,” - says Zelenskyy.

However, every human life must be valued and at one level protected from terror, he emphasized. That is why Ukraine wants to convene a meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council, at which they will discuss the protection of Ukrainians from Russian terror.
