In Kherson region, a Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier took his fellow soldiers hostage - media

In the Kherson region on May 1, a military man took two service comrades hostage and ordered them to go to the medical workers, whom he then also took hostage.

The media learned about this from sources in law enforcement agencies.

“The military man approached his colleagues, he had an AK-47 in his hands. He ordered them to take him to the doctors, he did not explain the reason. When he was taken to the doctors, he got out of the car and, threatening with a weapon, forced them to get into another car and go to Mykolaiv. On the way, the car with the hostages was stopped, and the military man was detained,” says the source.

A criminal case has been opened, the military man faces from five to eight years in prison.
