The Ground Forces named the key condition for a counteroffensive

The new counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will not be similar to the previous ones, because the situation on the battlefield has changed significantly, said Ivan Tymochko, Chairman of the Council of Reservists of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.

As he noted in a commentary on Channel 24 , counter-offensives at the operational level, for example, in the Chasiv Yar area, in the Lyman-Kupyansk or Avdiivka direction, require time and preparation.

The military man explained that success requires both a certain time period and a resource - the accumulation of ammunition. At the same time, a strategic-level counteroffensive accordingly requires even more forces and means.

“If the promised weapons of the allies arrive in full, manage to arrive in our brigades and units, there is coordination at the level of operational groups, then we can already talk about a counter-offensive. But for this, unfortunately, a lot of work, sweat and bloody blisters are still needed, which will have to be rubbed,” he explained.

The interlocutor is confident that one of the components of a successful counteroffensive should be the mobilization process.

“We have gained a lot of experience, unfortunately, having paid for it with blood and resources. But this experience is now worth evaluating only in favor of the victory of our country. Victory means counter-offensives, which will now be completely different in type, methodology, preparation process and the conduct of hostilities themselves "- added Tymochko.
