The Yavoriv District Court of Lviv Region found Roman G., an employee of the district TRC, guilty of drug-related driving. A military man was stopped driving a car with signs of drug intoxication. The court awarded him 17 thousand UAH. fine with a one-year ban on driving.
As stated in the court ruling published in the register, an employee of the RTRC in Radekhiv, Roman G., on March 18, 2024, drove a Renault Megane Coupe in Yavoriv with signs of drug intoxication (impaired language, coordination of movements, the stars of the eyes do not respond to light). In court, Roman G. pleaded guilty to driving under drugs. According to him, he did not undergo a medical examination because he was in a hurry. The case was reviewed by Judge Natalya Shved, who examined all the materials, including the video from the stop site - the video shows how Roman G. confirmed that he had used drugs the day before.
The judge found the TRC employee guilty of drunk driving. He was fined 17 thousand UAH with a one-year ban on driving. The decision can be appealed.
