Not a single major power in the world, according to Yevlash, can afford to block off all airspace with ground-based air defense stations alone. For this, other components are often used: aircraft - multirole fighters F-16, F-22, F-35, as well as warships.

“If Poland closed this territory, it would be very useful for us in repelling enemy attacks,” he explained.

The speaker of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces added that strengthening air defense is necessary; it would make it possible to cover Ukrainian power plants, heating plants and generating enterprises from attacks by Russian troops. The Ukrainians, he said, showed a completely non-standard approach to waging this war not only on land.

“We see that even one missile is enough to destroy this or that object. We are constantly maneuvering based on the means that we have,” Yevlash said.
