Ex-SSU employee explained massive attack in Ukraine
Ivan Stupak noted that if the Europeans do not store gas in Ukrainian storage facilities, then our state will not receive funds for rent.
On May 8, the Russian army launched a massive attack on Ukraine, using different types of missiles and Shaheds, and aimed weapons at energy and critical infrastructure. Former SSU officer Ivan Stupak told Channel 24 the details.
He noted that the occupiers have had a goal for a long time - they have repeatedly attacked large gas storage facilities in the western part of Ukraine. The objects are located deep underground and the enemy cannot yet reach them.
“I see two big potential calculations for the Russians,” Stupak noted.
A former SSU employee said that Ukraine is concentrating gas belonging to Western states in its storage facilities. This is what our country gets paid for. These funds are used to purchase ammunition, ammunition, and pay military salaries for difficult work, that is, to counter the Russian occupiers.
Ivan Stupak noted that if the Europeans do not store gas, Ukraine will not receive funds for rent. Accordingly, there will be a deficit in the Ukrainian budget for the army.
“Now the Russian invaders are trying to ensure that the gas in the storage facilities detonates,” he said.
