All female doctors and female pharmacists must register with the military - media

The government introduced the corresponding changes by decree of May 16.

As noted in the media, now all doctors and pharmacists must register with the military if they wish to continue working.

Previously, this norm stipulated that women who had received education in a medical or pharmaceutical specialty and were not registered with the military could be employed as non-military personnel until the end of 2026. Now this rule has been eliminated.

At the same time, the rules remain in force according to which the heads of state bodies and enterprises notify the TRC about women working in them who have received an education in a medical or pharmaceutical specialty and are not registered.

Unemployed women must independently arrive at the TRC to be registered for military service, the resolution says.

Women who have a specialty or profession related to military registration specialties (except for those who have received education in a medical or pharmaceutical specialty and are suitable for military service due to health and age) are registered for military service at their request on a general basis.
