The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is coordinating reservation lists received before May 10

The Cabinet of Ministers has resolved the issue of transferring powers to coordinate lists of reserved persons from the General Staff to the Ministry of Defence.

As you know, on May 8, the Cabinet of Ministers introduced changes to the reservation procedure, according to which it transferred the authority to approve lists for reservation from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the Ministry of Defence.

In particular, it has been determined that the reservation of persons liable for military service specified in paragraph 1 of this Procedure, in particular at enterprises, institutions and organizations that are critical for the functioning of the economy and the livelihoods of the population, is carried out in accordance with the decision of the Ministry of Economy on the lists of persons liable for military service who are offered for reservation for period of mobilization and wartime, agreed by the Ministry of Defence. Previously, such coordination was carried out by the General Staff.

On May 24, the Government decided to clarify what to do with those lists that were submitted before May 10. Their approval will be completed by the General Staff.

Thus, changes were made to the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 520 dated May 8, 2024 “On amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated January 27, 2023 No. 76.”

It has been established that the reservation of those liable for military service according to the lists of persons liable for military service, which are offered for reservation for the period of mobilization and wartime, which were received for approval by the General Staff of the Armed Forces before May 10, 2024, is carried out according to the specified lists agreed upon by the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
