Rwanda withdrew its signature from the Peace Summit communiqué

Rwanda withdrew its signature on the final declaration of the Global Peace Summit, which was held in Switzerland on June 15-16.

This is evidenced by the updated list of signatories published on the website of the Swiss Foreign Ministry.

The list of signatories presented on June 16 (pictured below) included Rwanda; according to the list updated on June 17, the African country was not on it.

At the same time, the Ecumenical Patriarchate appeared on the list, which was not previously on this list of signatories.

Also among the countries that have not signed the communiqué are Saudi Arabia, Thailand, India, Mexico, South Africa, Brazil and the United Arab Emirates.
