National Guardsmen in the Donetsk region destroyed a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft with Ihla

Soldiers of the National Guard destroyed an enemy Su-25 attack aircraft on a combat mission in the Donetsk region.

This was reported by the press service of the NGU , a video in the Telegram of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

As the UP clarified at NGU, the event took place on June 23.

A well-aimed shot at an enemy air attack was carried out by the combined crew of the Ihla portable anti-aircraft missile system of the 31st brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine.

In the Donetsk region, guardsmen moved to defensive lines, which they have been holding since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. A hostile Su-25, also known as the Rook, was discovered on a combat mission. A Su-25 attack aircraft was shot down with an accurate shot.
