The enemy in Pokrovsk direction is attacking intensively, mainly with infantry - National Guard

National Guard representative Ruslan Muzychuk announced this on air at the national telethon " Unified News ".

“During these days, in total, our units repelled 11 attacks in the eastern direction, most of them took place in the Pokrovsky direction, and the enemy here is trying to maintain the intensity of the assaults. These assaults are not always supported by armored vehicles, very often these are infantry assaults. The enemy, after that, how he strikes with artillery and aviation, and tries to advance his infantry so that they carry out assault operations,” Muzychuk said.

According to him, a significant threat in this context is enemy aviation, because even with this number of air strikes that the enemy inflicts daily on the positions of Ukrainian defenders, most of them fall on the Pokrovskoe and Toretsk directions.

“It is quite difficult to conduct combat operations in such conditions, but our units effectively carry out defensive missions and inflict losses on the enemy. In particular, during this day our guardsmen destroyed two tanks, seven armored vehicles, 12 vehicles, 15 artillery systems. work to detect concentrations of enemy personnel. During these days, 11 such gathering places were struck with the help of drones and artillery,” added the NSU speaker.

He noted that in the Donetsk direction the enemy is trying to replenish its units. In addition to motorized rifle units, there are others with which the enemy is trying to cover the losses that are occurring in this direction.
