Ministry of Energy: Energy workers are conducting the largest repair campaign in the history of Ukraine

The largest repair campaign in the energy industry in the history of Ukraine is currently underway.

This was stated by Deputy Minister of Energy Mykola Kolesnyk.

“After significant shelling of civil energy infrastructure facilities, the largest repair campaign in the history of Ukraine is taking place. These include both generation facilities and facilities for the distribution and transportation of electrical energy for end consumers,” he said.

Kolesnyk noted that this is necessary for maximum preparation for the next heating season, so that the maximum amount of equipment is ready for the period of maximum consumption.

He emphasized that regular shelling of energy facilities continues now, in particular, in the Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions. These attacks occur almost every day.

Earlier, Deputy Energy Minister Svitlana Hrinchuk stated that thanks to the round-the-clock work of Ukrainian energy workers, it was possible to stabilize the operation of the energy system.
